9 Month Postpartum Progress Pictures

I'm back, I'm back! Happy New Years (eve)!  Here are my 9 month after baby progress pictures! The notorious black bikini is out of it's drawer and ready for action ;) I'm happy with how far I've come with my body and it's still a work in progress! I've been doing planks and I feel like I'm starting to tighten my stomach up a little more. I found the "plank challenged" on pintrest, here it is below!

I actually made it a game between my husband, friends, and relatives. We'd have to hold it for at least as long as listed for that day, but then would try to hold it for even longer than the other person. Who knew my dad could hold a plank for 3 minutes?? Trust me, it works. I was barely able to do 20 seconds at first and now my longest is 2 and a half minutes! Your whole body starts shaking so bad and while I'm doing it I'm screaming like a woman giving birth without an epidural! But believe in yourself, you'll be surprised!

Florida was amazing, I wasn't too enthused to come from 80 degree weather to 10 degree weather in Utah. BUT that does mean I get to go snowboarding soon... wahoo! I'll do a separate post about our trip to Florida, but for now here are the progress pictures! I'm 150 pounds right now still, but I feel like I've been getting rid of some fat and replacing it with muscle. I'm ok with that! It's all about being healthy and how you FEEL in your own skin.

I saw this afterwards and realized it looked like my bum was hanging out... it's actually the tag of my swimsuit ha!

Stay motivated, stay on track, remember why you wanted to do this in the first place. Use the new year to your advantage, make those goals and STICK WITH THEM. That's the key! Don't be one of "those" people that goes to the gym for the first two weeks of January and then loses motivation. Make it a lifestyle change for good! Nothing tastes as good as being in shape feels (expect spinach artichoke dip, that's an exception).
